• ESP. The electronic stabilization program (ESP) is designed for a decidedly sporty feel. The program uses a combination of the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), the Electronic Differential Lock (EDL) and the traction control (ASR) system, to help make the S6 easier to control in handling situations close to the limit.
• Audi Advanced Parking System. Vehicles equipped with the Audi Advanced parking system with optional rear view camera will include the audible warning when an obstacle is observed by one of the rear bumpers sensors. The rear view camera image is displayed in the MMI screen.
• MMI. Audi's Multi Media Interface is a highly intuitive and simple to use system that allows you to control a range of features including ride dynamics, your entertainment system, your environment, and the Audi Navigation System.

• Brake System. Front and rear ventilated disc brakes provide brake power consistent with driving performance. The power of the S6 is also restrained with a four-wheel Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) with Electronic Brake pressure Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist, a system which automatically senses emergency braking and applies maximum available power boost to reduce overall stopping distance.
• quattro (R). Enhanced driving dynamics, optimum traction, excellent agility and responsiveness and improved safety. What is new in the Audi S6 is an asymmetric, dynamic torque split. If required, an integrated Torsen center differential distributes the output in the ratio of 40:60 between the front and rear axle.
• Airbags. An array of airbags in the S6 - driver, passenger and front side (plus optional rear side), together with front seat belt pre-tensioners, mean that in the event of a collision you are as protected as possible.
• 3-point seat belts. A handy reminder automatically activates to ensure you never forget to put on your seat belt. In addition, active head restraints, belt-force limiters and belt tensioners are integrated into the front seats.
