American Honda Recognizes Top Suppliers for 2008
Premier Partner Program Rewards Quality and Exceptional Service


American Honda Motor Co., Inc. President and CEO Tetsuo Iwamura today presented the company's Premier Partner Award to 15 American Honda suppliers for demonstrating excellence in quality, value and customer service. This year's award recipients were selected from among 53 suppliers nominated by American Honda associates, out of more than 1,000 eligible companies.

The Premier Partner Award winners represent multiple industries from varied aspects of Honda's business ranging from software development and custom research to printing and advertising. Award recipients include four winners returning from last year and six first time winners. The Premier Partner Awards were established in 1998 to recognize suppliers who embrace American Honda's philosophy of exceeding customer expectations with quality and exceptional service.

"Today we acknowledge an elite group of suppliers who embody Honda's philosophy of delivering the highest possible value to our customers through quality products and customer service," said Gary Kessler, American Honda's senior vice president of human resources and administration. "We appreciate the commitment from these fine organizations and thank them for their contribution to Honda's success."

  • Data Linkage Software, Inc. of Long Beach, Calif. for software development
  • Dynamic Research, Inc. of Torrance, Calif. for applied research, development and consulting
  • L.A. Prep, Inc. of Signal Hill, Calif. for vehicle preparation for the advertising industry
  • Maritz, Inc. of Torrance, Calif. for sales and marketing services
  • Marketing Factory of Venice, Calif. for producing the Honda Civic Tour
  • Minacs of Costa Mesa, Calif. for business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions
  • Pasha Distribution Services of Huntington Beach, Calif. for global transportation and logistics services
  • Sharp Decisions, Inc. of El Segundo, Calif. for providing IT professional services
  • Sinclair Printing Company of Los Angeles, Calif., for consumer publication printing
