Mercedes-Benz B- and C-Class voted “Company Cars of the Year 2008”

Company Cars of the Year 2008

As part of Europe's largest independent passenger car comparative test, a jury of 150 fleet managers voted the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class and C-Class as top company cars.

In the vote for “Company Car of the Year 2008”, held by German trade journal Firmenauto and DEKRA, Mercedes-Benz successfully held its ground: the new generation of the B-Class captured the top spot in the mini-/compact vans category, while victory in the medium-size category went to the C-Class. As a result, both vehicles received the title of “Company Car of the Year 2008”. What makes this particular survey so important is the fact that the jury is made up of experienced vehicle professionals who really know which cars are the most economical, reliable and practical – and therefore the best choice for commercial customers.

This is the tenth year that the company car of the year accolade has been awarded. This year’s survey covered 120 vehicles from a variety of manufacturers, which were tested and evaluated by fleet managers on a total of 1,500 test drives.
