Customizing UsefulRest
How to use UsefulRest

The default settings of UsefulRest provide complete protection for your health. However, you may want to adjust them to optimize UsefulRest performance or disable options that do not apply. You can change durations of work and breaks, options for your protection, and many others as needed in your work environment.

If you are using Windows 2000 or XP, you will need administrator access to change these options.

To open the dialog box for setting UsefulRest options

1. Right-click the UsefulRest icon in the notification area (sometimes called the "system tray") at the far right end of the taskbar:

   

   (The notification area may also include icons for other notifications and the system clock.)

2. In the pop-up menu, click "Options...":

   

OR

1. Click "Start"
2. Point to "Programs" (or "All Programs")
3. Point to "UsefulRest"
4. Click "Options"

OR

1. Double-click the UsefulRest icon in the notification area (sometimes called the "system tray") at the far right end of the taskbar:
