Warnings about an approaching break
How to use UsefulRest

UsefulRest will warn you about an approaching break. In "Break" mode the warning appears at 3 minutes and again at 1 minute before the break. In "MicroPause" mode it appears 1 minute prior to the break. This will allow you to save your work and to be prepared for a break.

To see how much time remains before a Break or MicroPause, move the mouse cursor over the UsefulRest icon in the notification area to display that information.

Warnings about an approaching break can be accompanied by sounds or melodies which you always can easily change.

To close the window with the warning, click its "Close" button in the UsefulRest window.

If you prefer not to see these warnings, you can them turn off at any time. You can easily turn them on again later.

To turn on warnings about an approaching break

1. Open the "Options" dialog box
   Click here to learn how to do this. (A new window will open.)
2. Click the "General" tab
3. Check the "Notify me about an upcoming break" check box
4. Click "Ok" button

To turn off warnings about an approaching break

4. Click "Ok" button
